| Staying the course….long term investing….buy and hold….get invested, stay invested….well, now the small fry investor knows why so many top professionals in the financial services business have preached this day in day out for so long. You see, most people haven’t experienced a market like we are in – no man’s land and no gains for 10+ years, volatility, low valuations with even lower multiples, uncertainty, political and economic unrest and uncertainty, the continued threat of over regulation, scarce resources, and plummeting currency valuations….I will stop there. Markets (especially the stock market) move in huge multi-year very lengthy cycles. Our analysis at Clark Bros is that we are currently setting the base for a major expansionary move in the stock market, global economies, and robust growth in economic efficiency led by….yep, the good ole’ U.S. of A. AND our large multi-national technology companies. Take your pick – software, hardware, services, social media, semiconductors, the cloud, etc. etc. Bottom line is we have what the rest of the world needs and will continue to need for years and years to come if they want to keep up with their competition.
