Recap |
Following Presidential election cycles is NOT a verifiable investment strategy. |

Hence, DNA investing – the A = Apolitical. |
What To Do |
We first did research on the theory behind Presidential D’s and R’s back on November 3, 2008, the day after Barack Obama was elected President. Here is the link on our website: http://www. As you can reference from the above article, the direction of the economy (ergo stock market) is NOT correlated with a Presidential D or R. The evidence simply does not support Presidential party affiliation with any correlated movement in the US stock market. Congress, as you can see, does – but, that’s a subject for a different day. As if this is not enough to convince Rush Limbaugh (oh, I am sure he would say blah, blah, blah….) but, again there is no evidence, and that’s what the informed individual investor should be looking at – not the media, talking heads on TV, politics, or internet bloggers. A more relevant and somewhat more convincing article (but still, entirely inconclusive) can be found here: http://www.floridatoday.com/ Point is folks, forget this political bantering! It will destroy your portfolio. Whether you agree with it or not, there is no evidence to support your political ideologies being a concrete investment strategy. |
