| An old Wall Street adage says….”when the bombs start flying, time to start buying!” Looking at the market this morning, this appears to be true once again. And, looks like we have a follow through rally from the short lived overhyped sell off spurned by Japan, nuclear meltdown fears, War in Libya, higher oil prices, the apocalypse, the burning and eventual end to the earth and all of mankind!! Also, reminiscent of another Wall Street adage….“the market climbs a wall of worry.” I have to wonder if Wall Street will ever pick up on this adage…. “Get Invested. Stay Invested.” – for the small investors sake, lets hope not, it’s your only advantage over Wall Street and the trade, trade, trade mentality of most investors. I have no idea where the market goes from here, and neither does anybody else. I do know this, over the span of “your” lifetime, the stock market has always (yes, always) rewarded investors with worthwhile profits to pay for college tuitions, retirements, second homes, medical emergencies, as well as peace of mind and financial independence. Always is tough to beat! |
