Maybe the politicians aren’t so much to blame? |

Maybe its America’s business leaders who we should be calling out! |
What To Do |
Most Americans income and standard of living are derived in some way from Corporate America – either as an employee or business partner. We blame our political leaders for economic disasters, lack of usable energy in America, the high price of gas, the high price of healthcare, poor education scores, infrastructure that is literally falling down….you get the point. However, do politicians really have that much to do with the cause (and effect) of these issues? Or is it Corporate America that we should start to hold accountable? Take America’s richest man, the enviable Warren Buffett. He took our money (US tax payer dollars) to bail out his poor investment decisions in Wells Fargo, American Express, and Goldman Sachs, and is now investing in….India and China? Nobody blinks an eye, and the media follows him around like a lost puppy dog. This is just one more example of why government in business doesn’t work – never has, never will. Mr. Buffett would have lost billions of his own money and his shareholder’s equity had the free capitalistic market that made him so rich been allowed to work. Why does the “world’s greatest investor” need my money to be successful and further increase his massive wealth? I make an average wage for my work. My net worth is nowhere near $1M, and will never be $1B. As long as we continue to turn a blind eye to the cause of our problems, we will continue to suffer from the effects of these corporate sell outs who could care less about corporate AMERICA, and only use her as a mistress to meet their “personal needs”. |
