Tell me again why we are having a ‘debate’ over raising the debt ceiling?

What To Do

Everyone, Democrats and Republicans, Conservatives and Liberals have said, ‘we must raise the debt ceiling, not doing so would be catastrophic for the US and world economies.’ So, why then, the fracas in the media and Washington DC! Like it or not, this is American politics – little of which has anything to do with the securities markets (read this: http://clarkbrothersinvestments.com/1103wr.html). If the Clowns and Jokers weren’t going to do what is obviously going to be done, then the markets would already be “correcting”. Sadly, this circus in the media and Washington DC only hurts the middle class American trying to make a buck in the market. This aforementioned fellow might actually believe this nonsensical rhetoric. Our professional (i.e. Clark Bros) and personally (i.e. me) is don’t fall for this again! Keep what you have. If you have cash wait to invest it till Aug, Sept, Oct timeframe. Remember, these are historically the worst months for the stock market – though not usually corrective in the third term of a Presidency (for those of you who are paying attention, I said ‘little’ to do with v. ‘nothing’ to do with - haha!). If you just can’t come to the realization that these guys are just _ _ _ _ _ _ _ with us, then sell a portion of your portfolio to cash (say 30-50%) and go fishing!!
